Bible and Critical Theory Journal new volume

The latest volume of the Bible and Critical Theory journal has just been released – it is a special edition, focusing on critical responses to the book by Katie B. EdwardsAdmen and Eve: The Bible in Contemporary Advertising (Sheffield Phoenix Press, 2012). The journal volume includes responses from two Theology at Auckland staff, Robert Myles (“The Commodification of Biblical Texts in Advertising and Contemporary Capitalism”) and Caroline Blyth (“Lost in the ‘Post’: Rape Culture and Postfeminism in Admen and Eve”).
